How to Play
To play Latloto, select five numbers from 1 to 38 and an additional number from 1 to 10. You can either pick your own numbers or have them randomly generated. It costs €1 per play. If you wish to enter multiple draws, you can choose to participate in 2, 4, 8 or 16 consecutive draws in advance.
Ticket sales close at 17:40 EET (16:40 CET) and the results are broadcast on television at 21:05 EET (20:05 CET).
Each draw consists of five numbers and an additional number. The aim of the game is to match as many as you can to win prizes. To win the jackpot, you must match all five main numbers drawn and the additional number drawn.
Prizes
Apart from the jackpot, there are six other prize tiers. You can win by matching three or more main numbers, or even by matching the additional number on its own. Prizes are pari-mutuel, meaning they are determined based on how many tickets are sold and how many winners there are in each tier.
The jackpot starts at €500,000 and keeps growing until it is won. The second prize starts at €20,000.
Numbers Matched | Odds of Winning | Percentage of Prize Fund* |
---|---|---|
5 + additional number | 1 in 5,019,420 | 35% |
5 | 1 in 557,713 | 10% |
4 + additional number | 1 in 30,421 | 7% |
4 | 1 in 3,380 | 7% |
3 + additional number | 1 in 951 | 7% |
3 | 1 in 106 | 14% |
0 + additional number | 1 in 21 | 20% |
*The exact percentage allocated to each tier is determined by the Latvian National Lottery after ticket sales close for each draw.

To play, choose six or seven numbers (depending on which game you’re playing) between 0 and 9. The same number can be chosen more than once. A series of winning Joker numbers will then be drawn alongside the Latloto 5 of 35 draw. You win prizes by matching your numbers with the digits of the winning Joker series in the exact order, starting from the back.
For example, if the winning Joker 7 series was 2233567, the chosen number 1234567 would win because it matches three digits in the same place from the back: ****567. The more numbers you match, the greater the prize.
Both Joker games cost €1.50 to play. The extra digit means that it is more difficult to win when playing Joker 7, but the prizes are bigger. The two Joker games are played separately, with different winning numbers and prize pools. Below you can see the prizes and odds of winning in each game.
Numbers Matched in Correct Position (from the back) | Odds of Winning | Prize |
---|---|---|
6 | 1 in 1,000,000 | €150,000 |
5 | 1 in 100,000 | €6,000 |
4 | 1 in 10,000 | €600 |
3 | 1 in 1,000 | €60 |
2 | 1 in 100 | €15 |
Joker 7:
Numbers Matched in Correct Position (from the back) | Odds of Winning | Prize |

7 | 1 in 10,000,000 | €750,000 |

5 | 1 in 100,000 | €6,000 |
4 | 1 in 10,000 | €600 |
