Winning Entry Bought From Nybrok Kiosk
The winning numbers were 3, 15, 30, 32, 33 and 45, plus Viking Number 2. Although the €4.4 million jackpot wasn’t won, there were over 284,000 winners in the draw, including the sole Danish player in the second prize tier.
There were also three Danish winners who took home 89,341 kr after matching five main numbers and the Viking number, but the draw belonged to their fellow countryman, who became an overnight multi-millionaire after buying the winning ticket from Nybro Kiosk in Søndergade, Nakskov.
Danske Spil, Denmark’s official lottery operator, said “Danish Games congratulate the newly-proclaimed Danish Vikinglotto millionaire and look forward to hearing from him.”
The top prize in the Denmark Joker also wasn’t won on Wednesday night, after no one managed to match all seven numbers - 0, 1, 2, 2, 3, 6 and 7 - to win the top prize. A full breakdown from the night, including the total winners and prizes in each tier for Vikinglotto and Joker, can be found on our Results page.
Jackpot Increases To €5.8 Million
The Vikinglotto jackpot has now increased to €5.8 million ahead of the draw on 18th July, after the top prize wasn’t claimed last Wednesday. The jackpot was last won on 27th June by a ticket holder in Norway, who described winning over €21 million as ‘a completely surreal feeling’.
