Vikinglotto Jackpot Increases to €16 Million

Vikinglotto Jackpot Increases to €16 Million

The Vikinglotto jackpot has increased to €16 million after going eight draws without a winner. The prize money has been growing since 11th April, when a single player from Norway won 319 million kr (€33.5 million). The second prize, which is also shared between all participating countries, was not won either, so it will increase to €475,000 for the next draw.

Vikinglotto Results for Wednesday 6th June

The winning numbers from last night’s Vikinglotto draw were 11, 19, 22, 32, 35, and 46, with Viking number 5. In Finland, Plus number 10 was also drawn, giving players in the country the chance to increase their winnings by five times their original value.

Although no one won the jackpot or second prize, over €2.6 million in prize money was awarded to winners from across all the participating nations, including 13 million kr (€1.3 million) in payouts to Norwegian players and over €500,000 to winners from Finland. See the Results page for a full prize breakdown.

If you want to be in with a chance of winning the multi-million euro Vikinglotto jackpot, you can take part online. To play, simply choose six numbers between 1 and 48 and one Viking number between 1 and 9. You can win the jackpot by matching all of your chosen numbers with those drawn.

Wednesday Joker Results

It was a quiet night for the Wednesday Joker game, which is played alongside Vikinglotto in six of the participating countries. There were no jackpot winners in any of the countries except for Norway, where two winners each matched all five Joker numbers to win 152,800 kr (€16,000).

In addition, one player was selected as Norway’s Joker Candidate for that draw. The man from Grimstad, in the south of the country, won a starting prize of 532,000 kr (€56,000) and was given the chance to increase it live on television. After receiving the call from Norsk Tipping TV presenter Ingeborg Myhre, he said: “I felt like I should play Joker, so I dropped a voucher. Now I'm shaking.” He went on to win a total of 2.6 million kr (€280,000) by guessing a series of “higher or lower” numbers correctly.

You can see the results of each country’s Joker draw below.

Eurojackpot Top Prize Stays at €90 Million

The Vikinglotto jackpot is not the only one that has gone weeks without being won. The top prize in the Eurojackpot lottery has not been claimed since Friday 9th February so has now reached a huge €90 million. Any additional funds from ticket sales are now being distributed to winners in the second prize tier, so you can become a multi-millionaire without even winning the jackpot.

You can buy a Eurojackpot ticket from authorised retailers in any of the 18 participating countries, or you can play online from various locations around the world.
