One Match Six Winner On The Night
The winning numbers on Wednesday 30th May were 8, 15, 17, 20, 40 and 47, along with the Viking number 5, and although the €13 million jackpot wasn’t won, there were 296,744 winners overall from across the nine participating countries, including the lucky player from Trøndelag.
The Vikinglotto draw was actually pushed back to 22:50 from its normal time of 18:00 because of the fourth round of the 2018 Norwegian Football Cup. A full breakdown of the winners from each country and prize payouts can be found on the Results page.
The Match 6 winner, who bought their winning ticket on mobile, was the only player to match all six main numbers in the draw. She received a telephone call from Norsk Tipping, Norway’s national lottery provider, confirming that she was the biggest winner on the night. Although no further details have been released yet about the winner, Norsk Tipping are now eager to celebrate further with their latest millionaire.
Jackpot Rolls Over To €14.9 Million
The Vikinglotto top prize was last won on Wednesday 11th April by another Norwegian ticket holder, who took home a 319 million kr (€33.1 million) jackpot after matching all six main numbers and the Viking number. It remains one of the biggest Vikinglotto jackpots won since the lottery started in 1993, and the third largest payout in Norsk Tipping’s history.
The jackpot has now rolled over to €14.9 million ahead of this Wednesday’s draw, and players across Europe will be hoping that they can follow the lead of the Trøndelag ticket holder by becoming an instant millionaire. You can enter online or via authorised ticket retailers in any of the participating countries to be in with a chance of winning. Good luck!
