How to Play
Play the Denmark Lotto by choosing seven numbers between 1 and 36. You win prizes by matching your chosen numbers with the seven drawn on the night. A bonus number – called the tillægstal – is also drawn, giving you a further opportunity to win. You do not choose a bonus number to play; instead, you win a prize if your seven chosen numbers match six of the main balls and the tillægstal. The jackpot is won by matching all seven main numbers.
Prizes
Lotto prizes are calculated on a pari-mutuel basis, meaning that they depend on the number of tickets sold and the number of winners in each tier. Each prize tier receives a percentage of the revenue from ticket sales, so the amount you can win can change from draw to draw. The prize for matching four numbers is fixed at 50 kr. The money to pay winners at this level is deducted from the prize pool before the remaining funds are split among the other tiers.
10.9% of the prize fund goes into a Savings Pool that is used to pay out the winners of the Lotto raffle. The raffle is held straight after the main Denmark Lotto draw, with two guaranteed winners of 1 million kr (€134,000). Every player that enters the Lotto draw will automatically be entered into the raffle, with two winning tickets drawn at random.

Joker is a supplementary game that can be played alongside the Denmark Lotto. To play, you have to opt in at the point you purchase your Lotto ticket. Seven numbers between 0 and 9 are then automatically generated for you and the objective of the game is to match those numbers with a seven-digit Joker number in the exact same order, starting from the back.
For example, if the winning Joker number is 3213567, the number 1234567 would win because it matches three digits from the back: ****567.
The Joker is played straight after the Denmark Lotto and tickets can be bought up to 17:55 CET on the day of the draw. It costs 10 kr per line to play. Below you can see the different prizes available and the odds of winning each one. Joker prizes are also determined on a pari-mutuel basis.
