How to Play
You can enter Slovenia’s Loto by picking six numbers between 1 and 44. Six main numbers and a bonus number are drawn in the lottery and you win prizes for matching your numbers with the winning line. You win the jackpot by matching all six main numbers.
Lotto costs €0.60 per line.
Prizes
There are eight prize tiers available in Loto and all are paid on a pari-mutuel basis, so they depend on how many tickets are sold and how many winners there are in each prize tier. The jackpot starts at a minimum of €400,000 and is capped at €5 million.
The table below shows how the prize fund is split and the odds of winning in each tier. Five per cent of the money goes into a Reserve Fund which is used to fund Super Loto draws and to ensure that the minimum jackpot amount can always be paid out.

Lotko
In addition to Loto and Loto Plus, you can also take part in Slovenia’s Lotko. You must play the main Loto game to play Lotko.
The game is played in a similar way to the Joker in other countries. A random six-digit number will be printed on your Loto ticket and the aim of the game is to match these digits with the winning numbers in the Lotko draw, in the exact order, starting from the back.
For example, if the winning Lotko line is 458756, the number 123456 would win a prize as it matches two digits from the back: ****56. There are prizes for matching one or more numbers in the correct order. The jackpot is won by matching all six.
The value of Lotko’s jackpot is variable but it starts at €100,000 and is capped at €5 million. All other prizes are fixed. The table below shows what prizes are available.
Lotko costs €1.50 per line.
Numbers Matched (in the correct order from the back) | Prize |
---|---|
6 | Minimum €100,000 |
5 | €1,500 |
4 | €150 |
3 | €15 |
2 | €7.50 |
1 | €1.50 |
Super Loto
Super Loto draws are held at certain points throughout the year, offering much bigger prizes. ‘Super’ versions of all three games – Loto, Loto Plus and Lotko – can be played, but all of them use the same set of winning numbers. The Super Loto takes place in addition to the usual Loto games and is drawn straight after.
It costs €0.80 to play Super Loto, €0.60 to play Super Loto Plus and €2 to play Super Lotko. The Super Loto jackpot is a guaranteed minimum of €1 million.
